Asics Cup 2 Results
At Asics Cup 2 14UW Thunder started day one in a three-way tie for second in the round robin. The tie breaking system sent Thunder to playoff schedule 3. Thunder started day two on a high note winning its first match. The momentum carried Thunder through two more consecutive wins to eventually end up facing the 3rd place team from our round robin pool, Yorkton Attack Blitz. We played a spirited match that saw Thunder split sets with Blitz. Blitz finally prevailed 15/10 over Thunder in a hard fought 3rd set. Congratulations to Thunder on their success this weekend. Other AC2 results: RVC 14UW Voltage finished 2nd at this tournament. Our 15UM Cougars team won Bronze at the 16UM tournament in North Battleford - Way to Go! And...13UW Rush finished 3rd in their tournament in Moose Jaw and 15UW Ace finished 8th in Asics Cup 2 also held in Moose Jaw.
